Commande du dessinateur et scénographe Marc-Antoine Mathieu pour accompagner son récit exposition "Le sel et le ciel" - fable onirique autour de la condition humaine, inspirée par la Couzonnaire, un bateau bas à fond plat du XVIIIe exposée à la Fosse aux ours à Lyon.

Dans un désert, un petit groupe de personnages à l’identité incertaine découvre un vestige à demi enfoui et entreprend de le dégager du sable. Au fur et à mesure de son exhumation, d’étranges sculptures apparaissent : des figures d’hommes et de femmes pétrifiés, leurs bagages à leur côté, dans ce qui se révèle être l’épave d’un gigantesque navire…

Commissioned by the designer and scenographer Marc-Antoine Mathieu to accompany his story exhibition "Salt and the sky" - dreamlike fable around the human condition, inspired by the Couzonnaire, a low flat-bottomed boat of the eighteenth exposed at the Fosse aux ours in Lyon.

In a desert, a small group of characters with an uncertain identity discovers a half-buried vestige and sets out to clear it of the sand. As his exhumation, strange sculptures appear: figures of petrified men and women, their luggage at their side, in what turns out to be the wreck of a gigantic ship...
